How it works

  1. Step 1

    In-home quote

We measure, show you Haas and CHI samples in your driveway light, and quote every option flat-rate — no phone-quote surprises.

  2. Step 2

    Order & schedule

Custom colors, glass, and hurricane ratings take 2–4 weeks. Once your door arrives we schedule a single-day swap.

  3. Step 3

    Install & mitigate

Old door out, new door in, sprung and balanced. You get the wind-mitigation paperwork for your insurance carrier.

Haas vs CHI — how to choose

Haas is our go-to for coastal salt exposure — heavier gauge steel, better hardware, and a longer factory finish warranty. CHI is the value line with a huge color palette and shorter lead times. Both are Florida Product Approved and both hurricane-rated.

Insulation actually matters here

An uninsulated door bakes an attached garage to 100°F+ in July and shoves that heat into the house. A polyurethane-core insulated door drops garage temp 10–20°F and cuts opener strain. On homes with a bedroom over the garage, insulation is a no-brainer.

FAQ

How long does a new door install take?+

Once the door arrives, most single-day installs take 3–5 hours. Custom orders (color, wood-look, glass, impact) run 2–4 weeks lead time.

Do I need an impact-rated door?+

In Charlotte, Sarasota, Manatee, and DeSoto county windborne-debris zones — yes. An impact-rated door also drops your wind-mitigation insurance premium; the discount often covers the upgrade cost.

Will you match my existing door if only one is being replaced?+

On a two-car home with matched singles, we always try to match. If the model is discontinued, we'll show you the closest current Haas or CHI equivalent.
